On Morphie, Sages are more than helpers—they’re community guardians. Think of them as friendly wizards of the network: wise, approachable, and always ready to lend a hand. They keep the #Help desk running, answer questions, and set the tone for our community’s friendly, eccentric, low-drama culture.
Why Become a Sage?
Being a Sage isn’t about power—it’s about support. Sages are trusted members who:
- 🛠️ Guide Newcomers – Help new users register nicknames, join games, and explore the chat.
- 💡 Share Knowledge – Answer questions about Morphie’s features, games, and community culture.
- 🤝 Keep the Vibe Alive – Model kindness and positivity to keep Morphie a safe, welcoming space.
- 🌟 Earn Respect – Carry the title of Sage, recognized by the entire community as a go-to source of help.
How Do You Become a Sage?
The Sage program is invitation-only. We don’t take applications or forms—you earn it by example. Here’s how:
- Hang Out in #Help – Be present and available in our help desk channel.
- Answer Questions – Offer guidance to new users when they’re confused or stuck.
- Be Kind & Patient – A good Sage doesn’t just know answers—they share them in a supportive way.
- Stay Active – Sages are community builders, so showing up regularly is part of the role.
Over time, our existing Sages and admins take note of helpful users. When you’re ready, you’ll get the invitation.
What Being a Sage Is Not
- 🚫 Not about bossing people around.
- 🚫 Not a moderator role (though some Sages may also be mods).
- 🚫 Not permanent if the vibe shifts—Sages are chosen because they embody the Morphie spirit.
